The 48' Isabella is the yacht in our fleet that comes with a jet ski included in the charter. For $1,499 you get a 48-foot motor yacht, a licensed captain and crew, and a jet ski to take turns on once the anchor is down.

That combination makes it the most fun-per-dollar boat we run. Cruise out past the skyline, drop anchor in Biscayne Bay, and half the group is on the water while the other half is on deck. It's the yacht we point people to for birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette days, and any group that gets restless just sitting still.

Charters leave from 668 NW N River Dr on the Miami River, about 10 minutes from Brickell. On board the Isabella

Up top, the flybridge has wraparound blue-and-white seating and the helm under a bimini, with the Miami skyline in every direction. The aft deck below is a second hangout with bench seating at water level, and the bow has a sunpad for anyone who wants full sun.

Inside, the salon has two sofas, a TV and warm wood finishes, with the galley forward. Below deck there is a cabin with a double bed and a bathroom, so nobody waits for the dock to change or freshen up.

1. 0:00Board on the Miami River

   Meet your captain and crew at 668 NW N River Dr on the Miami River, about 10 minutes from Brickell and 15 minutes from Miami Beach. Welcome aboard, a short safety briefing, music on.

2. 0:15Down the river into the bay

   Under the bridges and past the Brickell towers into Biscayne Bay. The skyline opens up behind you.

3. 1:00The islands loop

   Loop Star Island, Palm and Hibiscus Islands and run down past Fisher Island with the skyline behind you.

4. 1:45Anchor and swim

   Drop anchor and take turns on the jet ski while the rest of the group holds the deck. Nixon's Sandbar off Key Biscayne is the classic stop; your captain picks the spot for the day's wind and tide.

5. 3:15The slow ride home

   Back along the skyline with the city lighting up. Book the late slot and this leg is your sunset cruise.

6. 4:00Back at the dock

   Four hours on the water, door to door from the Miami River.
